The MSU Ethics Institute will support the application of ethics in discipline-specific and context-rich settings, and in emerging transdisciplinary fields that prepare our student leaders to act with integrity under conditions of rapid change and ambiguity.

The MSU Ethics Institute will promote the highest standards of ethical integrity across the university so that each person associated or engaged with MSU will directly experience the depth of our commitment to upholding the highest ethical conduct.

The MSU Ethics Institute will support and enhance existing and emerging centers of research excellence in ethics, and the processes and procedures that ensure the ethical conduct of research (data ethics, research communication, and ensuring a safe environment where researchers conduct high-quality collaborative research).
